Jane Picton Smith has been part of the Soutar Writers for five years. Her work has been published in a variety of anthologies and magazines, including Northwords Now, Poetry Scotland and, most recently, Perthshire 101. She was long-listed in the National Poetry Competition, commended in the Hippocrates Poetry Competition and came second in the Neil Gunn Writing Competition. Jane has a PhD in Contemporary Scottish Poetry, enjoys facilitating writing workshops and works in Community Learning and Development.
