Judy Walker lives in Northumberland. Her short stories have won or been shortlisted in a number of competitions, including winning the Ilkley Literature Festival short story competition in 2012, and have been published in newspapers, magazines and anthologies and broadcast on BBC radio. Her drama work has been staged in the North East and London. She won the UKA Opening Pages Award in 2007 for her children’s novel, Frankie.
